Day 09 | 100 Days of coffee

The past few days I’ve been brewing an anaerobic fermentation processed Java variety from Tolima, Colombia which was roasted by Black & White.

I love the Java variety for its amazing heavier body and dynamic flavor profile. I’ve enjoyed a few different Java varieties from multiple origins roasted by Drop Coffee in Stockholm recently. They all shared a comforting, often nutty and chocolatey profile with a pleasing soft acidity notes of pear, cotton candy, and other wild yet subtle/softer tropical flavors i really enjoy in coffee.

Since then, the Java variety (not to be confused with the growing region), has been high on my list.

This roast by Black & White showcases strong red wine flavors enhanced by the fermentation process, with incredible raspberry notes in the cup.

Because of the ultra strong wine notes and aromatics, I’d list this as an adventurous coffee.

Happy drinking!
